Live Healthy Rockbridge Kids

It is the mission of Live Healthy Rockbridge Kids to prevent and reduce childhood obesity in the Rockbridge Area.

Live Healthy Rockbridge Kids is an initiative of Rockbridge Area Community Services that focuses on reducing childhood obesity through nutrition and physical activity education . This can be accomplished through a focus to develop and promote the following:
-Family Involvement
-Nutrition Awareness and Education
-Physical Activity
-Community Partnerships

The movement is funded by:
-Virginia Foundation for Healthy Youth
-Stonewall Jackson Hospital Community Health Foundation
-Share Our Strength

Thankful for the opportunity to be present at A Day in K this past year! Seeing almost 250 individuals and upcoming kindergarteners. We had a wonderful time sharing resources, exercising, connecting with partners and of course, drinking FRUIT WATER!
