After more than 30 years of caring for Kentucky, today we celebrate Dr. Gregory D’Angelo’s retirement. 🎉

From his first day with Bluegrass Orthopaedics in March 1995 to his final patient, Dr. D’Angelo has helped countless individuals restore mobility and get back to what moves them. His compassion, dedication, and steady presence have shaped our practice, touched our communities, and meant so much to our patients and team.

Thank you, Dr. D’Angelo, for the lives you’ve changed, the trust you’ve built, and the legacy you leave behind. Congratulations on an incredible career and cheers to a well-earned retirement filled with naps, fishing trips, and plenty of relaxation.

This past Friday Dr. Owen McGonigle, and Cory Brown were out at Kroger Field supporting Collin Schneider, BGO's Certified Athletic Trainer at Lexington Christian Academy while they won their KHSAA Division 2A State Football Final. Congratulations to the Lexington Christian Academy Athletics department, football team and Collin for all the hard work this fall!

Last weekend, Dr. Denehy, Dr. Donegan, and Dr. McGonigle represented Bluegrass Orthopaedics at the 10th annual Gobbler Half Marathon & 10K!🦃

🏃‍♂️ Half Marathon (290 participants):
• Dr. Ryan Donegan finished 9th overall and 3rd in his age group
• Dr. Kevin Denehy finished 21st overall and 2nd in his age group

🏃‍♂️ 10K (203 runners):
• Dr. Owen McGonigle finished 17th overall and 1st in his age group

Their drive to stay active is the same motivation they bring to helping patients get back to what moves you.
