Dr. Blake’s Shoulder surgery went well yesterday. He is recovering well at home now 😊

The surgeon told me he had to make more repair to his shoulder than he thought once he got in there 🥴

His sutures from a surgery three years ago were in bad shape and his bone spurs were pretty gnarly and rubbing against the ligaments and tendons causing daily ongoing pain 😬

Let me just say that if you have had surgeries or going to have surgeries on your hips, knees ,back etc. Invest in a good electric lift recliner. It will take pressure off of the rest of your body, when you try to get up and down, saving your shoulders and the opposite joints. I got this right before my low back surgery last year cause I knew what a pain it was going to be getting up and down and it is a lifesaver. I can sleep in it and it’s very comfortable. Also great if you’re having a shoulder surgery because you can sleep in it and take pressure off the shoulder. Don’t cheap out do yourself a favor. Free doctors advice right here.

So ,Back surgery is Friday.. (My B-day) . Since I have been asked a 100 times, this is what is going on... here is the breakdown. Normal spinal cord (width and space) is the blue star. The 2 Red arrows are herniated disks that are still compressing the spinal cord. yellow areas are scar tissues that the Dr. is going to cut out to help open the spinal canal. Outpatient surgery . Hopefully be back to work in a couple of weeks when you all get back from your vacations! Prayers appreciated.!
