Debbie Coleman took the mound to throw the first pitch at a UK Softball game. Her catcher? Her husband and a living kidney donor himself, Tom Coleman. The Colemans were invited to a special softball game honoring the gift of life during Donate Life Month. Their story is a powerful reminder of the lives touched by organ donation and the hope it brings to so many.

Team Kentucky, who will represent transplant recipients, donors and families from across the state at the Transplant Games of America this year, was also on the field for a special flag raising, celebrating resilience, strength and second chances.
