Did you know this fun fact about your eyes? šŸ‘€

Today we celebrate the moment you finally stop leaning, squinting, tilting your head like a confused owl, or juggling two pairs of glasses just to read your screen. Bifocals at the monitor? Not anymore.
With modern computer-specific lenses and new presbyopia treatments, you can enjoy clearer, more comfortable screen time without the neck strain or constant adjusting.
And remember: regular eye exams are the real key to liberation. They catch changes early, keep your prescription accurate, and protect your eye health long-term—so your vision stays sharp and your workday stays painless.
Here’s to freedom, clarity, and screens that finally work with you, not against you. šŸ‘“šŸ’»āœØ

Protect your eyes out on the slopes and share it with everyone you know who loves shredding too. šŸ«¶šŸ»

Your eyes deserve it! šŸ‘ļøāœØ

I’ve made the best of my situation… but I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

Have fun & be safe out there šŸ‚

šŸ’Š Gym supplements & your eyes — a combo you didn’t think twice about… but maybe should.
Niacin (vitamin B3) — often present in ā€œfat burners,ā€ pre-workouts, and muscle gainers — can, in excess, cause Niacin maculopathy, a condition that affects your retina and blurs central vision. šŸ‘ļø

Usually reversible if caught early, but why risk it?
šŸ’” Moral: Supplements aren’t candy. Read what you’re taking in.

This Thanksgiving, Envision Family Eye Care is grateful for the trust you place in us to care for your vision. If you’re traveling to see loved ones, remember long drives and dry cabin air can irritate your eyes — pack rewetting drops and sunglasses for daytime glare. Book a quick pre‑ or post‑holiday eye check if you notice dryness, blurriness, or increased discomfort.

This Thanksgiving, why not treat your eyes to some nutritious foods that promote healthy vision? Here are some eye-friendly options to include in your feast:

•Carrots šŸ„• – Packed with beta-carotene, which converts to Vitamin A, helping maintain good vision, especially in low light.
•Sweet Potatoes šŸ  – Rich in beta-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin, which protect against eye diseases like macular degeneration.
•Spinach and Kale 🄬 – Full of lutein and zeaxanthin, these leafy greens help protect the retina and reduce cataract risk.
•Pumpkin šŸŽƒ – A powerhouse of Vitamin A, beta-carotene, and antioxidants that support healthy eyes.
•Turkey 🦃 – A great source of zinc, which helps the body absorb Vitamin A and supports night vision.
•Cranberries šŸ‡ – Loaded with Vitamin C, these antioxidants support eye blood vessel health and reduce inflammation.
•Nuts and Seeds 🄜 – Rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamin E, which protect against oxidative stress and dry eyes.

Incorporate these foods into your meal to nourish both your body and your eyes this Thanksgiving. Happy holidays and clear vision ahead! šŸ‘€šŸ‚

Wearing contacts while swimming can cause them to swell, scratch the cornea, and trap harmful microbes against the eye. To prevent complications, avoid swimming or showering in contacts, use airtight swim goggles, or switch to daily disposables and discard them right after exposure.

Keratoconus? Hard word to say, but it's important to know about it! As the cornea thins and bulges into a cone shape, individuals may experience difficulty fitting their contact lenses or glasses properly. It's crucial to recognize its early signs, which include blurred vision and increased sensitivity to light.

Keratoconus is a condition when the normally round cornea becomes thin and develops a cone-like bulge.

Reading your eye prescription is simple once you know what each number means. Sphere (SPH) tells you if you're nearsighted (–) or farsighted (+) and by how much. Cylinder (CYL) and Axis appear if you have astigmatism—the CYL shows the amount, and the Axis shows its direction. ADD is extra magnifying power for reading, usually for people who need bifocals or progressives. OD stands for your right eye and OS for your left eye. Together, these measurements guide the creation of lenses that give you the clearest, most comfortable vision.
