Front Desk Coordinator
Bux Pain Management - Lexington, KY
Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Bux Pain Management is a patient-centered interventional pain practice dedicated to improving quality of life for individuals living with chronic pain. With a busy schedule across multiple locations, our team is committed to delivering efficient, compassionate, and professional care at every patient interaction.
We are currently seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team and serve as the first point of contact for our patients.

Position Summary
In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the front office and ensuring a smooth and welcoming patient experience. You will play a critical part in patient flow, communication, and overall clinic efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer and manage incoming phone calls
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary documentation
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances at time of service
• Maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
• Assist with front-office administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications
Required:
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, or administrative role
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment
• Proficient with computers and scheduling systems
Preferred:
• Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting
• Familiarity with insurance verification and patient collections
• Experience with Athena EMR systems
