Our pediatric orthotic program is directed by American Board Certified and Kentucky Licensed orthotist, Gabriel Beversluis, CO, LO. Gabriel has specialized in customized pediatric orthotic care for over 20 years and has developed numerous innovative solutions specifically for children with special needs. Our staff uses specialized pediatric techniques and innovative orthotic designs to ensure the
best care for our pediatric patients. We work with children with a variety of developmental delays and neuromuscular conditions such as Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, muscular dystrophy, Rett syndrome, mitochondrial diseases, etc. We participate with all KY Medicaid plans and almost every other commercial insurance. There is never a charge for patient evaluations/consultations. We will work with your child's therapists and physicians to help coordinate an orthotic treatment plan in order to help your child. Most children outgrow their bracing every 6 to 12 months. It is important for caregivers and medical providers to assess and evaluate changes as children grow to make sure we are providing the best, most appropriate bracing to meet their individual needs. If your child requires bracing for feet, legs, hips, elbows, wrists or spine, you are welcome to contact Gabe directly with questions or schedule an evaluation appointment online by clicking the "Book Now" button our our home page. You can also visit www.bludgrassbracing.com/pediatrics for more information. We look forward to meeting you and helping your child take 'The Next Step Forward' in their development! All bracing requires a physician prescription so please keep in contact with your child’s doctor regarding bracing needs!
