The COVID-19 pandemic has been devastating for people with disabilities, their families, and DSPs. I just took action to tell Congress they must pass the Better Care Better Jobs Act, a historic investment in system to expand access and to increase wages for the direct care workforce....

Wow! Has it really been over three years since we started this CRAZY adventure?? THANK YOU Lexington and all of our fans for supporting our mission and making this happen! In 2018, we set out to make a change - with over 70% of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) unemployed nationwide, Second Wave was opened to create paths for people with I/DD to become more valued, accepted and included in their community. We have done it and YES -- we are looking to open a SECOND STORE!!!! Stay tuned! :-)

A "taste"of the hive! Cody continues to do an amazing bee keeping job! Our bees are very happy and LOVE their Second Wave home. They are producing a ton of honey!! Jars will be on the shelf next week!! :-)
