Sure, Conrad’s eyes might be unforgettable 👀… but germs don’t have to be. 🧼
Wash your hands for 20 seconds, keep the glow, and leave the Jere - we mean germs - behind.

Washing your hands is easy, and it’s one of the most effective ways to prevent the spread of germs.

Follow these five steps from the CDC every time.
1. Wet your hands with clean, running water and apply soap.
2. Lather soap in your hands by rubbing them together. Make sure to get the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails.
3. Scrub your hands for at least 20 seconds. Pro tip? Hum the “Happy Birthday” song from beginning to end twice.
4. Rinse your hands well under clean, running water.
5. Dry your hands using a clean towel or an air dryer.

🍁 Seasonal Allergies in Kids – What Parents Should Know

Runny nose? Watery eyes? Endless sneezing?
Spring and fall aren’t just about beautiful weather—they can also trigger seasonal allergies in children.

Common signs in kids:

* Persistent sneezing or nasal congestion
* Itchy, watery, or red eyes
* Coughing or throat irritation
* Fatigue or trouble concentrating

Why it matters: Untreated allergies can affect sleep, focus in school, and even lead to ear or sinus infections.

How to help:
- Keep windows closed during high pollen days
- Wash hands, face, and hair after outdoor play
- Use air purifiers indoors
- Talk to your pediatrician about safe allergy relief options

Seasonal allergies are common—but with the right care, your child can breathe easy all season long! As always, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

August is Children’s Eye Health & Safety Month!
Did you know that uncorrected vision issues can hinder a child’s learning and development—and may even become permanent if not caught early? This month, we shine a light on kids’ vision.

Why it matters:

* Healthy vision supports academic performance and social growth.
* Many children don’t get regular screenings yet vision loss remains a growing concern.
* Early checks can detect common conditions like myopia, amblyopia, and strabismus—many of which are treatable.
* Protecting little eyes from injuries, UV rays, and excessive screen time is just as important.

How to help:

* Schedule a back-to-school eye exam for your child.
* Learn more and get free resources from healthychildren.org

Together, let's give our kids the clear vision they need to thrive!
