Celebrating recovery and people getting connected to resources that encourage recovery.
Brandon began his recovery journey, December 2024, at the Davidson County Detention Center, with community partners Daymark Recovery Services, Inc., and DC Connect Inc.
Today he is learning how to live a new life at The Lighthouse transitional house of Davidson Prison Ministry post incarceration.
United with his community Brandon knows he has a community committed to supporting him in his recovery journey.

Valerie marks four years of triumph over substance misue, while Billy is celebrating a few weeks of recovery. Their stories inspire hope and remind us that healing is within reach for everyone in our community. Thanks to our dedicated partners and donors, we continue to offer life-changing support to all who need it in Davidson County.

Our mission is built on the foundation of community engagement. Together, we can drive positive change and make a lasting impact. Our Church and Community relations committee is passionate about hosting events that bring people together. Connecting our community to our partners is vital to longterm sustainability. United we do more.

Journeys of Hope often begin in unexpected places Davidson County Sheriff’s department and Davidson Prison Ministry are two community partners that are seeking to do the most good in difficult situations.
