Exciting Changes at SOMA: A Shift to Referral-Only Practice
Dear SOMA Community,
Since opening SOMA in 2017, I have been honored to provide bodywork and massage therapy to this incredible community. Over the years, my practice has grown thanks to your loyalty, support, and word-of-mouth referrals. As SOMA continues to evolve, I want to ensure I can offer the highest quality care to each and every one of you.
To better serve my regular clients and manage my time effectively, I have made the decision to transition SOMA to a *referral-only* practice. This shift will allow me to maintain the level of personalized attention and availability that you’ve come to expect, while ensuring that new clients who join the SOMA studio are referred by trusted sources.
There have been instances where long-term clients have had to wait six months to a year just to get back on a regular self-care and massage schedule. This feels out of alignment with the quality of care I strive to offer, and it’s simply not sustainable. I’ve tried to be as fair as possible for as long as I can, but with a growing waitlist and long-time clients struggling to secure consistent appointments, I need to make this change to uphold the integrity of my practice.
**What Does This Mean for You?**
- If you are an existing client or currently on the waitlist, *you will be grandfathered in*. This means you will continue to have access to services and appointments.
- Moving forward, new clients will need to be referred by an existing SOMA client or healthcare professional in order to book an appointment.
- When booking online, new clients must include the name of the person who referred them in the “notes” section to confirm their eligibility.
I am deeply grateful for your continued trust and support. This decision was not made lightly, but I believe it is the best way to maintain the quality and integrity of SOMA’s services for everyone.
