The second-grade students of Ms. Flasher’s and Mrs. Carter’s at Seton Catholic School were inspired after reading a story in Crossroads magazine about Surgery on Sunday, and decided to take action.
These students took it upon themselves to make a difference, making and selling an impressive 2,400 pieces of candy, completely selling out to raise funds for Surgery on Sunday.
Our Clinical Coordinator, Nancy Johnson, had the opportunity to visit and accept their donation, thanking them for their generosity and sharing with them how their efforts will directly support life-changing surgeries for patients.
A warm thank you, Seton second graders. Your kindness and generosity was greatly appreciate by all of our volunteers this Sunday. You truly make a difference - you have such big hearts!
