Family Services of Davidson County, Inc

Family Services of Davidson County, Inc Family Services provides services to those victimized by domestic/sexual violence, human trafficking, and stalking. Our Values:

Everyone has worth.

Individuals and families can change. People have the right to choose and the responsibility to accept the consequences of their choices. We are all accountable for our own actions. We will provide quality services in a timely manner to all appropriate clients, regardless of their race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or ability to pay. We meet clients and begin our work where they are. Helping people requires effective communication and collaboration among agencies in order to provide comprehensive services that are not overly intrusive or bureaucratic. Our staff is our most valuable resource. We strive to create an environment that provides the opportunity for career success and satisfaction. We are committed to being good stewards of the gifts provided by our patrons and sponsors. We will work to maximize their return and impact on our community.

We are so grateful to everyone who came out for our third annual Break the Silence Walk. Being able to come together as a community to honor those we’ve lost, uplift those who are struggling, and remind each other that hope and support are always here was truly powerful. No one walks this journey alone.

A special thank you to the Thomasville Police Department NC and Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery for standing beside us and helping make this event possible. Your partnership makes a lasting difference.

Join us for our annual Break the Silence Walk in honor of Su***de Prevention Month. Together, we will walk to remember those we have lost, stand with those who are struggling, and bring hope and healing to our community.

The walk begins at 3:00 PM at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville, with opening comments to start the day. We are proud to partner with Thomasville Police Department NC , Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, and Holly Hill Cares to make this meaningful event possible.

Your presence matters. By coming together, we can support those who need us most and show that, as a community, we can break the silence.

On September 11, 2001, our nation lost 2,977 lives in the deadliest terrorist attack on American soil. Today, we honor their memory, the bravery of the first responders who rushed toward danger, and the countless families whose lives were forever changed. We pause to remember not only the tragedy of that day, but also the resilience, unity, and courage that continue to inspire us.
