Bluegrass Community Health Center is a patient centered medical home that has served Kentucky Families since 2001. BCHC provides comprehensive primary care for adults and children. The have several Central KY locations including one co-located at the site of New Life Day Center.

We were honored to be invited to present to the Lexington Outreach Network team at Central Christian Church.

Our COO, Dr. Rhonda Mullins, and CCO, Brandy Coyle, shared how recent federal healthcare changes are directly impacting Bluegrass Community Health Center (BCHC) and, more importantly, the patients we serve every day.

From increased uninsured rates and coverage disruptions to the growing strain on safety-net providers, these changes are reshaping how care is delivered in our community. We are grateful for the opportunity to raise awareness, strengthen partnerships, and work alongside organizations like Central Christian Church to support those most in need.

🌟 Employee Spotlight: Beyonce Murillo Vera 🌟

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Beyonce Murillo Vera, our Lead Pharmacy Tech at Eagle Creek Pharmacy! She has been with BCHC for almost 4 years, and we’re so thankful for all she does for our patients and team.

Beyonce says one of the things she enjoys most about her role is helping people in her community every day. She also shared that one thing she wishes patients knew is that pharmacy is not as easy as it looks.

One of her favorite BCHC memories was volunteering at World Refugee Day and seeing everyone come together. The BCHC value that means the most to her is compassion because she loves working alongside such caring and supportive people and knowing patients are in great hands.

And for her shoutout, she chose the entire Pharmacy team for their hard work and for keeping everything flowing smoothly. 💙💚
