Dr. Gina Johnson-Higgins’s Story

Dr. Gina Johnson-Higgins is a general dentist who thinks her patients deserve the finest care and compassion in a modern and comfortable setting.

She graduated from Morehead State University with Bachelor of Science and Arts degrees in Biology, Psychology, and Chemistry. Dr. Higgins then attended the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry where she graduated "Top Ten" while starting her family.

She is committed to bringing every one of her patients to total health through outstanding oral care. Dr. Higgins strives to educate every patient with the knowledge that their oral health directly impacts their overall health.

To achieve the highest level of comfort for her anxious patients, Dr. Higgins obtained credentialing with the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS). She felt compelled to further her education on sedation and attended a post-doctural "mini-residency" at the University of Kentucky to obtain her license to provide IV sedation for her patients.
