Dr. Levinson is a licensed psychologist, health service provider, and clinical supervisor at the Louisville Center for Eating Disorders and a Professor at the University of Louisville. Her research focuses on developing innovative, technology-driven treatments for eating disorders, while her clinical work supports children, adolescents, and adults facing eating disorders, OCD, and anxiety.

Through research, care, and innovation, Dr. Levinson is helping advance the future of mental health treatment.

For Women’s History Month, we’re proud to highlight Dr. Sheila Schuster—a lifelong champion for mental health, healthcare access, and social justice in Kentucky. 💚

Dr. Schuster has been a clinical psychologist for nearly 50 years and a leading voice in state and federal advocacy for nearly four decades. She helped establish the Kentucky Mental Health Coalition in 1982, served as the first Executive Director of the Kentucky Psychological Association, and now leads the Advocacy Action Network, uniting organizations working for healthcare, mental health, disability rights, and social justice.

Her decades of dedication continue to shape a stronger, more equitable future for Kentuckians.
