KYMBA Bluegrass needs your help ASAP! The City of Lexington is seeking proposals on how to use federal American Rescue Plan Act Funds. KYMBA Bluegrass is submitting an application for community pump tracks in the city and we've been informed that multiple applications proposing the same type of project may give it more weight. As such, would you please take 5 mins to submit a proposal to the link below?

If you are interested in starting a NICA team with the Kentucky Interscholastic Cycling Leage the Leader's Summit is a great place to start. You'll meet new and veteran coaches, learn program details, and earn your on-the-bike certification. Participants will have a chance to meet league leadership, NICA guests, sponsors, and have their questions answered. It's a weekend packed with information, skill development, and fun. We hope to see you there!

Registration for the Leader's Summit is now open! This event will bring together league leadership, coaches, NICA staff, and those who want to start a team or become a coach. This weekend offers two tracks: one for newcomers and one for returning coaches. Participants will receive classroom training. on the bike coaching certifications, and there is an opportunity for those coaches moving to level 3 to get their NICA approved Wilderness First Aid certification.
The Leader's Summit is an opportunity to receive program training and CEU's, learn about PitZone, plan for your season, and talk with other coaches. We have a fun and informative weekend planned and can't wait to see you there! Note: we will be following CV19 mitigation recommendations and requirements so please bring a mask and plan to social distance. We will update as needed.

250 kids will get a bike, equipment, and a stipend to pay their fees! This is an incredible opportunity to get ! Trek Bicycle is stepping up to make an impact and make our beloved sport stronger through inclusion and diversity. If you know of a school or group of individuals who would like to start a kids mtb NICA club team please share this with them.

Today we are excited to announce the Trek Bicycle / NICA Pathfinders Scholarship, which will provide up to 250 diverse and underrepresented youth with the gear and funds they need to ride and race in their local NICA mountain bike league. Calling on our thriving mtb community! Have you checked out the Kentucky Interscholastic Cycling League (KICL)? Fall 2021 is our inaugural season and we are rapidly moving forward with team organizing, coach training, venue surveys, adventure weekend planning, and our GRiT (Girls Riding Together) program. KICL is a youth development mtb league for kids grades 6th - 12th. If you want to start a team, find a team for your kiddo, coach, volunteer with our league, and/or donate visit www.kentuckymtb.org. Normally around this time of year, we would be hosting our annual Bluegrass Women's MTB Clinic. Sadly, we have decided to cancel the event this year due to the pandemic and out of an abundance of caution. We look forward to seeing you all next year and putting on an extra special event, 2 years in the making!
