What do all these sprinters have in common?
Big Glutes and big Hamstrings
Most lower leg issues stem from not using your hips properly.
Walking is a multi-step process.
The first video you can see me "walking from the knees down", or basically thinking about pushing off the back leg which leads to calf/shin and foot problems
The second video albeit exaggerated, shows how our front leg is supposed to pull ourselves forward in motion, which will engage the lower glutes and high hamstrings.
Start slow and exaggerate the pull through and slowly pick up speed making sure you feel yours glutes engaging each step
