A year ago I was so overweight, out of shape, and energy was at an all time low. For years I over worked my body with intense cardio and never fully understood the importance of strength training. I liked to dance, I liked to jump, and cardio was always my go to!
My wellness routine is a lot different now! I still love to dance and move, but at 52 I don’t need my body to break down on me.
I was finally able to get the weight off! I was stuck for quite some time trying to figure out why the scale wouldn’t budge and why the weight stuck to me like gorilla glue!
I’m thankful that my body is no longer working against me. I didn’t enjoy having hot flashes! I didn’t enjoy the night sweats! I never knew what people meant by brain fog until one day it made an appearance. The inflammation was uncomfortable! The bloating felt bad too! Joints ached and I had also gained that mid section fluff!
Today I feel great! And lighter too! I’m down 40lbs and stronger. All of those nagging symptoms have disappeared and my body has been reset.
