Lisa Lundgren was a proud mother to Jessica Shepard and Justin Lundgren, and stepmother to Montana Smith; a loyal sister to Gloria Tudor, Marvin Mason Johnson, and Angela Brown; a faithful grandmother to Savanah Gray; a lifelong friend to Lynn Goforth; and a devoted daughter to Mary Louise and Marvin Johnson Jr., who preceded her in death. Lisa endured a life of profound hardship yet triumphed over trials that would break most people. Though she faced immense challenges and pain, they only deepened the warmth and kindness she poured into others. Having known a life of feeling unsafe, she ensured those she loved felt overwhelming security and safety in her embrace. Lisa’s fierce loyalty to her loved ones will be deeply missed, and the world will be far less warm without her in it.In her quiet strength, Lisa wove a tapestry of love that will forever shelter her family. She passed peacefully on October 15, 2025, leaving us all safer, warmer, and braver for having known her.In her embrace, we were home. Forever safe, forever loved.
Funeral Service1:00 PM Tuesday October 21, 2025 in the Chapel at Funeral Directors. Visitation 11:00 AM until Service time. Services will conclude with Burial in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens on Harrodsburg Road in Jessamine County.
