T.G.I.F...Thank Goodness it's Fry-day! 🍟Last week, Members went on a mission to find the best fries in town. This joy ride around Lexington was just the change of scenery our Members needed, and the French fries were a delicious bonus. Members waited eagerly for our Lifestyle Enrichment Leader to secure the bag of fries at each stop and cast their votes based on both the taste and texture of each French fry. The verdict is still out on the best fry, because they were all just so good. 🤩

Wellmore proudly offers the Senior Living Communities Silver Pen Writing Competition for local high school seniors every year.
We're excited to announce that we're now accepting applications for 2026. Winners are awarded cash prizes of up to $3,750 to support their post-graduate plans. 🎓💰

A dedicated panel of Members will be looking for 1,000-word essays based on a chosen topic. The deadline to apply is January 4th, 2026! Please share this to ensure local students can access this fantastic opportunity. 🎉

On September 11th, we hosted our first-ever Chalk Walk! 🌈 Members, team members, families, and friends joined forces to raise funds for Alzheimer's Association at Wellmore. 💜 Beginning at the Wellmore Portico, participants completed one lap around the property, stopping at eight color stations along the way. Feet Fleet even came bearing all the wellness goodies you can think of, including fashionable sunglasses, compression socks, Plantar Fasciitis socks, and even hats! To add to the excitement, an associate from Fleet Feet generously raffled off a gift card for a custom-fitted pair of shoes to one lucky attendee! 👟 This event was such a fun way to fundraise, and left everyone colored with joy. 🌟

Today is World Alzheimer's Day. 💜

This is a day when we would like to honor the advances in research into this disease that have happened in 2025. This year, we've seen the first real-world study of a new amyloid drug targeting Alzheimer's, confirming findings from the late-stage clinical trials, and patients expressed satisfaction. This was the first time we have seen these drugs being offered outside of a clinical trial, and the success that patients have shared gives us hope. Thanks for the donations and advances in 2025. We are one step closer to achieving the goal to . 💜
