We had a fantastic time taking our residents out for lunch at First Watch today. From delicious food to even better company, it was a truly heartwarming outing. The smiles, stories, and laughter around the table made it a memorable day for everyone. A big thank you to the team at First Watch for the great service and welcoming atmosphere. We’re already looking forward to our next outing! 💛

Sweet Moments at Magnolia Lexington!

Our residents indulged in a delightful Fudge Tasting and it was a treat in every sense of the word! From classic chocolate to nutty and creative flavors, it was a chance to spark memories, engage the senses, and enjoy sweet moments together. Flavor, fun, and community all in one bite!

Walk to End Alzheimer’s 2025! Together, we walk for hope. We walk for memories. We walk for a future without Alzheimer’s. Thank you to all that joined us! We will be having more fundraisers throughout this month to donate to the Alzheimer’s Association with our pinwheels, Boo Bash, and Trunk or Treat. We hope you can join us!

Meet Demerial!

"My name is Demerial “Dee” George, and I am a native of Lexington KY, born and raised. I am a dog mom to a beautiful Pit Bull named Midnight. I am currently transitioning to the Memory Way Unit Manager from being the Resident Services Coordinator here at Magnolia Springs.

Prior to working at Magnolia Springs, I was a Certified Medical Assistant for 19 years. I started at Magnolia Springs as a caregiver because I needed a second job and ended up falling in love with the place and the people. So, I decided to leave the field that I had known for half my life and give this a try, and I absolutely DO NOT regret it.

Outside of Magnolia Springs I love DIY projects, music, cooking, and arts and crafts. My all-time favorite hobbies are candle making and singing karaoke with my best friend! I am currently working on finishing nursing school so that I can further my career with Magnolia Springs.

I hope to grow and flourish within this community because I have absolutely fallen in love with the people of Magnolia Springs and I can’t foresee myself leaving here anytime soon."

We had a recent estound guest visit us at Magnolia Springs Lexington. George Washington... the four-legged friend of Naomi. George took time out of his busy schedule to share some wet nose kisses and belly rubs with our residents. We love when George and Naomi come to visit. George loves to spend most of his time in our community in Memory Way and its always a fun time after dinner and before the day winds down. He is always so polite and loves to extra attention! Thank you for coming to visit us!

Young at Heart performing since 1980 throughout central Kentucky to preserve & introduce new listeners to the joy & uniqueness of classic swing-era big-band music. Their non-profit raises funds to support young musicians & other musical organizations. 1930 to 1960 Music with a 21-piece Orchestra. Incredible performance as always! We look forward to seeing them next year! Thank you, Young at Heart!
