The Center for Asbestos Related Disease Providing advocacy, care, resources and hope
to the community, and all those across the
nation, impacted by Libby Amphibole

CARD is involved in collaborative projects with many prestigious research partners from around the nation. Although patient care is always the number one priority of CARD; the board, staff, and Libby community have embraced the opportunity to promote research activities to further the understanding of Libby amphibole asbestos diseases. It is recognized that research is essential to understand exposure risk and to find improved interventions and treatments that will benefit those exposed in Libby and across the nation. CARD's primary research objective is to facilitate effective types of health-related research within the Libby community in a way that will be beneficial and respectful to community members and researchers. CARD and the Libby community realize that “CARD Research is a Community Project”. The time is now to move from Crisis to Cure.

Starting Thursday, October 30th, the CARD Clinic will be closed due to the ongoing Government Shutdown.

As a reminder, CARD Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization funded through a Federal Grant with the CDC and the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR). Because of this, the shutdown directly impacts our operations.

If you have any questions or need to reach us, please leave a voicemail at 406-293-9274. We will return your call as soon as we are back in the clinic once normal government operations resume.

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support as we navigate this situation together.
