Jason’s story to Moab.
Hey Micah,

So this year I headed to Moab to cement so more relationships in the industry and bring awareness about Camp Patriot.

I left for the trip on Sunday March 22nd. I arrived in Grand Junction, CO Monday afternoon and met with Next Venture Motorsports to get some stuff done with my Jeep and talk to the owners about possibly coming out to the Jeep Show May 23 they have been supporting Camp Patriot since I started the Jeep show and committed $2500.00 for raffle items this year. I drove into Moab Wednesday March 25th. Saturday March 28th. I did a ride with Rock Krawler suspension who is doing $2000.00 in raffle items for Camp Patriot Jeep show. Monday night I went to Zaks which is a huge party for vendors in the industry. I met up with Eaton Locker and they offered a $3200.00 gift certificate for a locker for raffle, again a 1st. Then on Tuesday March 31st I went on a trail run to Top of the World with Warn Industries. I had the media person in my Jeep and I gave an interview about being a disabled veteran and how I put on a Jeep Show benefiting Camp Patriot. They donated 1500.00 in items for the raffle the 1st time ever. Hopefully the interview gets broadcast with Warn and we bring more awareness to Camp Patriot. I did a few more trails and headed home Friday to make sure I made my sons 13th birthday on Saturday. The trip allowed me to bring awareness to what Camp Patriot is and how the organization helps veterans. Obviously it’s good for my mental health to get out and explore the outdoors and share how Camp Patriot help me indirectly and gave me a mission to help the organization.

Here are some pictures from the trip. I have roughly 20k in raffle items for the event. Hopefully being on Memorial Day we get enough Jeeps and 4x4s to bring in money for Camp Patriot. I appreciate all you do and what you have created Micah.

Camp Patriot has been successfully helping disabled veterans since 2005.

We all have people come and go in course of our lives. On some occasions out of the,” blue” we reconnect with friends from our past. And once in a while that reunion unveils that the friendship seems to pick up almost where it left off as if no real time has passed! And that’s special!
A few days ago a veteran & long time friend reached out not with just a, “hello!” But a very touching testimony. It’s been about 17+ years since I have seen Andrew and it was great he reached out. I asked Andrew if I could post this testimonial and he approved. He now lives in FL with his beautiful wife and six children. He is about to finish his law degree and is pressing on with life!
His testimonial! Enjoy

"My name is Andrew McMann. I returned home from Ramadi Iraq in 2007 after a devastating IED attack left me both physically and emotionally maimed. There were many people who checked on me and actively sought to help me. I want to speak about my friend and brother Micah Clark and Camp Patriot. When I came home Micah reached out and introduced himself through a mutual friend. I didn’t know much about Camp Patriot but I soon found out. Micah explained the mission of his organization and invited me to participate in outdoor adventures. Over the next few years Micah brought me on hunts and events that unknowingly to me at the time was helping me through challenging times. He introduced me to others within the community who have been great members of support. Not long before Camp Patriot acquired the Ranch I moved to Florida. My path has not crossed with my friend Micah as much as it had in years past. It has now been close to 20 years since our fateful meeting. I reflect fondly on and grateful to God that our paths crossed. I look back and recognize the healing that took place in my soul and body from those moments spent with Micah those veterans who shared pieces of my experience. I am far from whole but I am a more complete person because of my adventures with Micah, Camp Patriot and the veterans they support. This is an organization that was founded with healing in its wings. May God continue to bless Micah, Camp Patriot, those who have given so much of their time and talents, and the brave men and women who you continue to look after."

Camp Patriot may not be a, “Big” organization but it makes, “Big impacts!” In the lives of our disabled veterans and first responders.

We need your financial help to continue, “Giving back to those who have given!” Please consider joining out “Friends of Camp Patriot” monthly donor program:

Thank you for your consideration and help!

God bless,

Greetings from Camp Patriot,
We are having the first trip of the new year. We planned on having trips around Christmas until near spring break up but we have had a horrible winter! As in…no snow and fluctuating cool (not real cold) and warm weather …up to 48 degrees! When this time of year we usually get some days -30 to our coldest day last year at -46 degrees.
Makes it impossible to do anything winter trips wise with no snow to snowmobile or ice on the lakes to ice fish!
But, we think the amount of ice we have right now is going to allow us to get out the next two days! Possibly!
We have four veterans arriving today to ice fish! 🎣

On this Christmas our hearts our full of gratitude. Thank you for being a part of Camp Patriot and choosing to support our mission in helping our disabled Veterans and first responders. Christmas is a beautiful reminder that our Lord Jesus Christ was born and died for all of our sins to be the only, “Bridge” to our Heavenly Father.
From all of us at Camp Patriot, we wish you a peaceful, restful, joy filled Christmas and a happy New Year!
Please enjoy reading a couple of testimonials I received yesterday.

God bless!
Micah
