From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a doctor—thanks to my grandfather, a physician who was deeply respected for the time and care he gave his patients.

After ten years in practice, I’ve seen firsthand how the current insurance-driven system has shifted focus away from patients. Doctors are burdened by paperwork, rushed visits, and regulations that limit the most valuable thing we can offer: our time and attention.

I believe there’s a better way. Primary care shouldn’t be dictated by third parties—it should be a direct, personal relationship between doctor and patient. That’s why I founded Baker Direct Primary Care: to return to the kind of medicine that listens, connects, and truly serves.
