Today is world pumping day! Hats off to all of us pumping mamas full time or part time! Pumping is still a lot of work and for you exclusively pumping mamas you rock! What’s something you’ve learned about pumping?

I exclusively pumped for 1 year and 1 week with Zae because of his cleft. We latched and nursed for the first 3 weeks until we learned that was no longer the best plan of care. Pumping is breastfeeding too! Remember that!

I will be providing home visits to the greater Spokane region starting in January! I will be serving both the greater Seattle and Spokane areas through December as I am in between both locations. Got Milkies

Welcome to Got Milkies Lactation Support!

I am Ashley, I am a labor and delivery RN and the certified lactation counselor behind Got Milkies! I am available to provide education both prenatally and postnatally for all those who choose to breastfeed/chestfeed! I am also available, in the comfort of your own home, for hands on latch evaluations once your new bundle has arrived Earthside.

I knew lactation counselors were valuable but it wasn’t until after a rocky start with my first son and then being an exclusive pumper for my second son who was born with a cleft lip and palate that I realized how much of a necessity they were. That was when I decided I had to get certified as a lactation counselor. I wanted to be that support for others, to instill that confidence in parents that they can indeed do this too.

I would be honored to support your families journey by empowering you to achieve your breast/chestfeeding goals through up to date clinical lactation support and education.
