If you're dealing with fatigue, bloating, brain fog, mood swings, or sleep issues, and standard labs say "you're fine" ... it's time to dig deeper.
We look for root causes and these are the 3 go-to tests for chronic symptoms we often see:

- Comprehensive Stool Test (GI-MAP): Reveals infections, leaky gut, inflammation, and how well you're digesting food.

- Cortisol Rhythm Panel: Tracks stress hormone patterns to understand fatigue, anxiety, and burnout.

- Micronutrient Testing: Uncovers hidden deficiencies in B vitamins, magnesium, zinc, and more that affect energy, hormones, and brain function.

Symptoms are signals your body is sending like an SOS. Let's find out what your body is trying to say - book a consultation today!

This little-known trace mineral plays a big role in how your body functions. Here's what makes Selenium so important:

- Selenium is crucial for converting inactive thyroid hormone (T4) into its active form (T3), which your body needs for energy, mood balance, and metabolic health.
- It also acts as a powerful antioxidant in the gut, helping to reduce inflammation and oxidative stress in the intestinal lining.
- Plus, it helps regulate your gut immune system, making it especially valuable for people with autoimmune thyroid conditions, leaky gut, or chronic digestive issues.

While you can get selenium from foods like Brazil nuts and seafood, it's easy to fall short, especially if your digestion is compromised. Supplement with the help of a knowledgeable practitioner to get the tailored recommendations you need.

If you're eating well, exercising, and still struggling with weight that won't shift, it's not about willpower. Hormones act as messengers that regulate metabolism, hunger, fat storage, stress response, and energy levels. When they're out of balance, your body holds onto weight, even if you're doing everything "right" to try to lose weight.

Here are 3 foundational steps to help support hormonal balance and create a body that feels safe to let go of excess weight:

- Eat within 90 minutes of waking: Skipping breakfast or delaying your first meal can spike cortisol and destabilize blood sugar. Eating early, especially a combo of protein, fat, and fiber, helps regulate insulin and reduces cravings later in the day.

- Prioritize 7-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep: Sleep is hormone reset time. Lack of sleep increases ghrelin (which drives hunger), reduces leptin (which signals fullness), and interferes with insulin sensitivity. Just one rough night can impact your metabolism the next day.

- Support liver detox pathways daily: Your liver processes not only toxins but also excess hormones, especially estrogen. When detox slows down, hormonal imbalances build up. Add cruciferous vegetables (like broccoli or arugula), lemon water, and consistent hydration to help your body keep up.

When your hormones are balanced, your metabolism works with you, not against you. And that's when sustainable, healthy weight loss becomes possible.

Chronic fatigue, brain fog, and lingering digestive issues? If you've been told "everything looks normal" but you still feel exhausted, Candida overgrowth could be playing a role, especially in those experiencing symptoms consistent with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME).

Candida can disrupt the gut barrier, trigger systemic inflammation, and interfere with neurotransmitter function, all of which may contribute to the fatigue, cognitive fog, and immune imbalances seen in CFS.

Supporting recovery involves more than avoiding sugar. It means taking a structured, whole body approach:

- Reducing refined carbs and yeast-feeding foods
- Rebuilding gut health with nutrients like L-glutamine and zinc carnosine
- Introducing antifungal herbs like oregano oil carefully
- Supporting nervous system regulation through sleep and stress care

Because every case is different, working with a knowledgeable practitioner is key. They can guide testing, dosing, and timing to minimize setbacks like die-off reactions and help tailor a plan that addresses both Candida and chronic fatigue.

If you've been living with bloating, irregular bowel habits, or food sensitivities for years, it's easy to assume that's just how your body works. But common doesn't mean normal... and it definitely doesn't mean optimal.

Here are some signs your digestion may need deeper support:

- You rely on coffee to have a bowel movement
- You feel overly full or uncomfortable after small meals
- You swing between constipation and loose stools
- You've chalked up daily bloating as just "your thing"

These aren't random or something to push through. They're signs of a gut that may be inflamed, imbalanced, or struggling with motility, enzyme function, or microbial diversity. If any of this sounds familiar, it may be time to take a closer look at what your gut's trying to tell you.

It's supposed to protect you, but many conventional sunscreens contain chemicals that can disrupt your hormones, damage your skin, and even affect your long-term health. Here's what to watch for:

- Oxybenzone: Mimics estrogen, disrupts testosterone and triggers oxidative stress and allergic reactions
- Octinoxate: Has been shown to alter thyroid hormone levels and increase absorption of other toxins
- Homosalate: Accumulates in your body and interferes with estrogen, progesterone, and androgen

Many strains are destroyed by stomach acid before they even reach your intestines. This is one of the key reasons why people dont always feel a difference when taking probiotics.

Spore-forming strains like Bacillus subtilis and Bacillus coagulans are the ones you want. These microbes stay dormant through the acidic stomach and only activate once they reach the intestines, where they begin to colonize and support your gut. Resilient strains like these can help rebalance your microbiome, crowd o

Candida overgrowth may be more than just a gut issue... it could be fueling persistent fatigue, brain fog, and cognitive struggles.

Research shows that when Candida becomes imbalanced in the gut, it can trigger low-grade inflammation, disrupt neurotransmitter production, and increase gut permeability (aka leaky gut). These effects can burden the immune system and mimic or even contribute to symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME).

If you've been feeling anxious, low, irritable, or emotionally flat it might be time to dig deeper. Emotional health isn't just about mindset. It's a reflection of your biology, chemistry, and environment. Here's what functional testing can help uncover:

- Cortisol Levels: Dysregulated cortisol (your stress hormone) can lead to mood swings, anxiety, fatigue, and even panic attacks, especially when it spikes or crashes at the wrong times of day.
- Neurotransmitter Imbalances: Low serotonin, GABA
