What Am I To Do

What am I to do
when the world around me feels heavy,
when the air hums with worry
and the ground beneath feels uncertain?

I pause.
I breathe.
I meditate.
I pray.
I tend to the small, quiet places within me
that are asking not for answers,
but for care.

What am I to do
when everything feels unsettled?

I become gentle with myself.
I rest when I can,
stand when I must,
and trust that perseverance does not always roar ~
sometimes it whispers,
I trust I am here to do my piece ~ my part.

I remember the light I carry,
not loud or blinding,
but steady as a candle in the dark.
I cup it with care,
protect it from the winds of despair,
and let it glow where it is needed most.

I offer one act of kindness ~
a listening ear, a soft word, a helping hand.
I do one good deed,
knowing ripples travel farther
than the stone that made them.

I plant one seed,
even when the soil looks weak,
trusting the wisdom of the seasons ~
that growth often begins with faith,
in patience, in darkness, in hope.

What am I to do
as the world finds its way through change?

I follow nature’s lead.
I adapt. I heal. I keep loving.
I tend to my inner light
and let it overflow quietly into the world ~
a thousand small illuminations
that, together,
create new beginnings…

New possibilities ….
Nurturing peace, love, and unity.
