Starting next week, May 23, 2021, I will have new operating hours. Hours have been adjusted on my booking site as of now. I’ve added in a few longer days for those that work those daytime hours and are looking to get in a little later in the day. Also, my schedule is starting to book out a few weeks, so booking in advance is highly recommended!

PTSD-Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Description
A disorder in which a person has difficulty recovering after experiencing or witnessing a terrifying event.
The condition may last months or years, with triggers that can bring back memories of the trauma accompanied by intense emotional and physical reactions.

This is a very common disorder with more than 3 million cases per year in the US

Symptoms

Requires a medical diagnosis
Symptoms may include nightmares or unwanted memories of the trauma, avoidance of situations that bring back memories of the trauma, heightened reactions, anxiety, or depressed mood.

PTSD symptoms are generally grouped into four types: intrusive memories, avoidance, negative changes in thinking and mood, and changes in physical and emotional reactions. Symptoms can vary over time or vary from person to person.

Posttraumatic stress disorder is comprised of four phases: impact, rescue, intermediate recovery, and long-term reconstruction

Understand that anyone that has been in any type of traumatic situation, can have PTSD. If you need help or think you may suffer from it, please go see someone.

Just because you know one person that deals with it or it affects them in a certain way, doesn’t mean that it will affect the next person the same exact way.
