**Resident Voices Making a Difference! 🗣️🍩**

We had a fantastic Resident Council meeting at Liberty Community Living Center! Our amazing President **Merita**, Vice President **Sierra**, and Secretary **Michael** led a great discussion, and residents enjoyed some delicious donuts while planning for the future!

Today's agenda included wonderful ideas on how to make new residents feel even more welcome in our community. And the big vote is in: our Resident Meal of the Month for August will be Roast Beef PoBoys!Get ready for some tasty comfort food! 🥪

**What is a Resident Council?**
For those who might not know, a Resident Council is a group made up *by and for* the residents. It's a vital way for residents to:
* Share their thoughts and ideas about life in the home.
* Discuss concerns and find solutions together.
* Plan activities and special events.
* Make decisions that help improve everyone's living experience!

It's all about empowering our residents and ensuring their voices are heard! We love seeing such active participation and leadership.

🚨 **EMERGENCY CUTENESS ALERT!** 🚨

Liberty Community Living Center just got a massive dose of patriotic fun thanks to the incredible **Amite School Center Softball Team**! These amazing young ladies (and gentlemen on the sidelines, we see you!) threw us the most fantastic impromptu 4th of July party, and our hearts (and stomachs!) are bursting!

Picture this: watermelon eating contests that got delightfully messy (proof in the pics!), enough confetti to rival Times Square on New Year's (our dining room is now officially a party zone!), manis that would make any salon jealous (our ladies are rocking some serious patriotic sparkle!), and the grand finale... an *a ca****la* rendition of "Party in the U.S.A." that would make Miley proud (and had us all singing along, off-key but with gusto!).

Seriously, the energy and joy these students brought were absolutely infectious! They laughed with our residents, made them feel like absolute rockstars, and created memories we'll be talking about for ages.

To the Amite School Center Softball Team: You didn't just throw a party; you threw a celebration of community, connection, and pure, unadulterated fun! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for spending your time with our residents and making this 4th of July season extra special. You are all MVPs in our book! 🥎🇺🇸❤️

P.S. We might need a cleanup crew for all this confetti... but it was SO worth it! 😉

What a sweet treat for our residents today at Liberty Community Living Center! 🍓🍰

A huge thank you to **American Health Advantage** and their wonderful liaison, **Angela**, for bringing in delicious **strawberry shortcake** for everyone! Our residents absolutely loved this delightful surprise. It's thoughtful gestures like these that truly brighten their day and make our community feel even more special.

A huge shout-out and heartfelt thank you to **Arden Hospice** for the incredible treat today! 🎉 Our staff at **Liberty Community Living Center** were absolutely delighted to be surprised with delicious **Taco Bell** for lunch and some fantastic **Independence Day goodies**!

Your thoughtfulness truly brightened our day and made us feel so appreciated. It's wonderful community partners like Arden Hospice that make such a difference. We're so grateful for your generosity and support!
