Oh, yeah, I'm still making face masks every day. Can you believe it? :-)
They would make a great Christmas gift. After all, if we have to wear 'em, why not gift someone with one or more? Also, they make great stocking stuffers. And, students will be starting a new semester next month. I have a good variety of science themed masks. I have a little of everything....something for everyone....skulls, Christmas, science, cats, butterflies, Halloween, etc.

I just listed 34 new mask themes in my Etsy shop a few minutes ago. It took HOURS. Whew. I'm exhausted and I still have sewing to do, as well as packing sold items.
(while posting the pictures someone came in and bought 13 of them. However, in the coming days I'll do repeats, so there'll be more)

I've been super busy making some surgical masks to ship to a hospital in Maryland. I've also made masks for my Etsy shop. :-)

This is what I've been doing all week....whipping up 33 new feedsack bags. I've been so behind in things like this.
But there's lots of new ones and I'm busy making 9 more. :-)
Here's just a few.
And, I've also begun to make much smaller totes that would be fun to use as gift bags. They're great for filling with goodies, plus they are reusable.
I've also made two bags with extra long straps so the bags can be carried on the shoulders.
And the best part is, all of these bags are staying out of the landfill. :-)
They last many years. Tom and I are still using the very first bags I made 4 years ago. And we use them every week.
They look like I just made them yesterday. :-)

I made 2 clothespin bags.
This is the second one.
I made this clothespin bag from a single sunflower seed bag, which is made from Polypropylene.
I also lined the bag with the same type of material, and trimmed the opening with cloth bias tape.
I put metal eyelet 'vent holes' along the bottom edge of the front and back. This allows for air circulation and also in case the bag gets left out in the rain.

Spills and dirt wipes right off with no problem. Easy to keep clean.

Also, I won't include the hanger because to do so would greatly increase the shipping price just to be able to keep the hanger from breaking in shipment.
Any hanger from your closet will do!
Even the plastic hanger from stores with the swivel hook works GREAT. Perfect size.

I made my first clothespin bag from these bags a little over two and a half years ago. I deliberately left it out in the weather for all that time. I wanted to see how well it held up.
The colors faded, as it will with all clothespin bags no matter what it's made from.
And the bag was rendered unusable after 2 and a half years....not to mention several bird's nests that were built in the bag during that time.
And that's about the life of any bag that is left out for that long of time in all types of weather.

Otherwise, if you take care of it and bring it inside and not leave it out all the time, you should get many years of usage from this bag.
Plus, it's not in the landfill!!
It's a great way to re-purpose something that would have been tossed away.
So, the birds get fed with the seeds and we can use the bags for totes and clothespin bags.
Price is $25 and shipping is $3.50.

hehehe......I LOVE finding unusual fabrics for my shop! :-)
I found this fantastic fabric Friday.
It's not just 'Christmas fabric'...it's Christmas fabric where Santa, Mrs. Claus, a reindeer, and a snowman are all puking. :-)
I'm going to guess they're sick of Christmas.

This fabric is made of medium weight 100% cotton canvas.
I'm not sure it would be suitable for regular garments, but would work as a vest or jacket....things like that.
Also, it would be perfect for Christmas home decor...like place-mats, potholders, curtains, etc.

Santa is barfing presents, Mrs. Claus is barfing Christmas lights, the snowman is barfing snowflakes, and the reindeer is barfing candy canes.
Too cute!!! :-D

Boy, this has been such a busy season for me. It's non-stop, but I'm not complaining!
I did get a chance to do some fabric shopping recently.

It's a stretch fabric, but I bought it anyway. It's full of great monsters. It's listed in my Etsy shop.

One of the winged creatures is ripping up a goat...and the octopus has little people in his grips. There's also a decapitated head, and lots of interesting little things.
