EMDR trained "The good life is a process, not a state of being.

It is a direction not a destination". - Carl Rogers. Life is a journey in which we experience a variety of challenges and emotions. During difficult times it can be beneficial to reach out to someone for extra support. My goal is to provide you a comfortable space where you feel heard and understood. We will work together to utilize your strengths in order to promote growth and change in a healthy

way. I strongly value the therapeutic relationship built on respect, open communication, and trust. As a client you will find a safe, empathic and accepting counseling environment. I use a person centered, strengths based approach which focuses on your individual strengths and maintains a positive perspective. You will be encouraged and challenged while stretching yourself! Along with talk therapy we will integrate art, play and nature. You will leave session with a new perspective and ideas to use in your daily life. I would love the opportunity to work with you. I look forward to speaking with you so we can discuss your counseling needs. I am happy to answer any questions you have about the counseling process. Call, message, or email me to receive your free phone consultation. "Its about progress not perfection."

In 2017, the two of us had an idea… what if we created a space just for girls to feel seen, supported, and truly themselves?

In 2018, we brought that vision to life with our first Love Your Selfie summer groups. What started as a shared vision between colleagues has grown into something so meaningful.

Here we are today heading into our 9th summer of girls groups together. Year after year, we’ve had the privilege of walking alongside incredible girls as they build confidence, connection, and courage. We’ve laughed, created, processed big feelings, and watched friendships take root in the sweetest ways.

I’m so grateful for this friendship & partnership, for the families who trust us, and for every girl who has been part of these groups over the years.

Here’s to another amazing summer full of laughter, growth and friendship.

Parents & caregivers of girls ages 8-12 years old we have an amazing therapeutic summer camp starting this June!!!

This group is created to provide a calm space for your girl to learn about her brain, decrease anxious thoughts/feelings, strengthen her sense of self, and much more. We use art, play, music, & nature to connect, have fun and love our amazing selfies!

All 6 sessions included! (dates/times listed below.)

It is one of our very favorite ways to soak in the summer sun ☀️ while releasing the stress of the school year. 🤯

*Come as you are! 🤩
*Release your outside worries. 🌬
*Celebrate your amazing self (we love celebrating!)🥳
*Laugh and chat (A lot!) 😂😚
*Be silly or serious.🤪🤨
*Create, connect, repeat (many times.) 🎨🎼🧩
*Soak in fresh air on mindfulness walks.🧍🏼‍♀️🌺🌿

January can feel surprisingly heavy.

The build-up is over.
The lights come down.
The routines return; while the same holiday energy doesn’t.

This “January let-down” isn’t a lack of gratitude or motivation.
It’s a nervous system response.

After weeks of stimulation, connection, disruption, and expectation, the body needs time to recalibrate. Kids often show this through big feelings or behavior. Adults tend to feel it as exhaustion, irritability, or a quiet sense of meh.

What helps isn’t a resolution, it’s gentleness with ourselves.

• Fewer expectations (for a little while)
• Predictable rhythms
• Extra connection before correction
• Letting winter be slower, on purpose

A few small things that can help the nervous system right now:
• Consistent mornings and bedtimes
• More daylight and fresh air when possible
• Warmth, pressure, and rest (cozy clothes, hugs, warm drink, quiet moments)
• Gentle stretches or yoga
• Deep breath (breathe in for 4 & breathe out 6-8)
• Check in with yourself; What feels supportive right now?

January isn’t meant to be a sprint.
It’s a soft landing.

Less pressure.
More predictability.
Extra kindness.
