I remember us having a buick hearse this model. It was black and always looked scary with that grill when backed in a garage.

This is what the inside back of the hearses looked like when I was a toddler. It could be converted with pop up seats from transporting a casket at a funeral, to rushing the sick to the hospital. The cot would attach to the rail you see below the curtain, and family could sit beside the patient.
