What an amazing event we had Saturday! Texas Care is proud to be a part of our vibrant community. Texas Care teamed up with Harris County Precinct 2-Commissioner Garcia at the Victoria Apartments Resource Fair. The event was to provide compassionate, hands-on support to families recovering from the recent fire. Texas Care-Northshore provided school supplies and refreshments for the kids. There was also a food truck drop off for the residents.
It was a beautiful day of giving, connection, and community support. Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make a difference.

ABC13 and their community partners are coming together to stuff school buses with school supplies to benefit Houston Food Bank’s School Programs. Their goal is to help Houston Food Bank supply twice as many classrooms as in 2024! On the date of the supply drive day, Channel 13 will broadcast live from the station, and to tell the story of the program and how it impacts amazing teachers and their students and to encourage people to donate, Channel 13 wants to do interviews with teachers/schools and students to tell their story of how the program helps them and why it is important. These interviews will run in advance of the drive date and also during the event date.
