One does not have to agree with his personal politics to see that he was standing for something missing in today’s society. Constructive dialogue about public issues, characterized by respect, active, listening, and a commitment to understanding, differing viewpoints.
The brazen and brutal attack and murder of an innocent beautiful woman on a train, surrounded by people, committed by a 14 time convicted criminal, there is a symptom of a cancer growing in our society. The dark is winning, and we must each resist being pulled into the fear, anger, hate. The only way darkness ends is when the light shines brighter..
