You were a better mom than I could have dreamt up. Thank you for all the you were, all that you persevered through, and all the love and sacrifices that you gave without second thought. You were our anchor, our pillar, and the person we always tried to measure up to, because we knew how good you were. We wanted to be good too. You were brilliant intellectually and most of the time the rest of us were too slow to quickly pick up on your wit and humor. Your warmth always poured in at the right time and in the right way. I’m grateful I got to be your daughter, that my teacher was you. No one else could have done the job in the way I needed.

My mom was a humble warrior, with the charm and wit that would keep you smiling and thinking. Just when you thought she was getting too serious she’d have you laughing and light hearted again in no time at all. I don’t generally take advice from anyone, but I could always trust hers. In less word, she was the best. I miss her woefullly ❤️‍🩹 Happy Mother’s Day, I hope you are enjoying yours with yours.
