If you find a roundish, slightly raised, and scaly patch on your skin that seems to have come out of nowhere, it might be pityriasis rosea.

Pityriasis rosea is a somewhat common skin rash. It's not contagious and usually disappears on its own after a few weeks, but there are some treatments that can help if it becomes itchy or keeps coming back.

Lakeside Dermatology also provides an extensive line of customized skin and hair products available for patients for use at home.
