A Turning Point in My Leadership
During pregnancy with my second child (pictured), I contracted CMV, a virus common in daycare settings. The experience was frightening—fever, rash, and stroke‑like symptoms, but it reshaped my empathy and leadership.
I learned that disabilities aren’t always visible and that compassion is essential in how we lead.
