It was a beautiful day for a walk to Green Oaks pond! 🌿 Our Memory Care residents enjoyed the fresh air, watching the fish swim, and feeding them along the way. Conversations flowed as residents shared memories of swimming, fishing, and summers by the water. A simple outing, but one that brought back so many smiles. 💛

At Green Oaks Senior Living, residents stepped into the spotlight with their very own Drama Club! Alongside improv and acting games, they dove into Regina Brett’s beloved 50 Life Lessons. Each story sparked laughter, reflection, and heartfelt conversations about what matters most. 💛

We had such a rewarding time volunteering at Bernie’s Book Bank! Residents applied stickers, sorted books, and loaded pallets—processing hundreds of books in just one day. We left feeling proud, knowing these small tasks will help get books into the hands of children who need them most. 💚

Back-to-school means back to celebrating our teachers! ✏️💛 Our residents had a wonderful time putting together “Emergency Kits” filled with tea packets, chocolates, gum, cereal, tissues, first aid kits, hand lotion, rubber bands, and handwritten cards of thanks.

Though we couldn’t record with the teachers due to policy, the joy of creating these baskets and writing personal notes made this project extra special. 💕

is a national creative campaign by Spectrum Retirement senior living communities to support Alzheimer's Association. Through hand-painted umbrellas, we’re raising visibility for Alzheimer’s and celebrating the power of community art.

Green Oaks Senior Living designed this Artbrella around four meaningful quotes that reflect the heart of our community. Above each quote sits a handmade Alzheimer’s Association ribbon, lovingly created by residents in our knitting and crocheting club—because when we come together, beautiful things happen. To top it off, we added purple glitter polka dots as a reminder to keep shining and to honor the vibrant spirit of the Alzheimer's Association.

Designed by Erika, Beverly, Millie, and Kay, this umbrella is filled with love, creativity, and community pride. We’re competing to win our regional round and move into the Final Four!

We can’t get enough of this heartfelt Valentine’s celebration! 🎶❤️ One of our communities took the season of love to the next level with Singing Love-O-Grams! 🎤✨ Dressed to impress in a bold red tux, their Director of Entertainment & Programming, Jim, delivered serenades, roses, and sweet treats to residents and team members. 🌹🍫

Even better? Each Love-O-Gram supported the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, spreading love while making a difference. 💜 Now that’s how you redefine Valentine’s Day!
