Felt like painting a wall today ☯️

There are many things that can leave us feeling disconnected from our bodies and hurting in our minds.

🔹Maybe you’re dealing with chronic illness and have a hard time tuning in to what your body needs after years of symptoms.

🔹Maybe you went through a traumatic experience(s) in your life and you still feel like your body is holding on to things that are no longer serving you.

Acupuncture is a safe and effective somatic therapy that can be a bridge between your mind and your body in those times when that bridge gets wobbly.

The weather may have turned the mental health walk into a drive instead, but at least we got to practice valuable mental health skills like adaptability and resilience! 😁

Mental Health Action Day began in 2021 with a goal to shift our mental health culture from awareness to action. Since then, a coalition of 2,500+ organizations & leaders have come together each year to continue this work! Together, we’re spreading the message that we can take actions to improve our mental health just like our physical health.

Join us on May 15th from 6:30-7:30pm for the 5th annual walk & ice cream social. This event is open to all!

Join us to be a part of this global initiative to move from awareness to action for mental health. This event will take place on May 15th from 6:30-7:30pm and is open to all families. We’ll meet at the bike path on the corner of 176 & Garfield in Libertyville and walk to Dairy Dream. There will be fun SWAG, mental health resource booths and ice cream for all – we’d love to see you there!

Today I got to go to my daughter’s school for Career Day and teach some K-5 students about Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)! I definitely never had an acupuncturist come to my school when I was a kid, and it made my heart happy to share this medicine with the next generation ♥️
