Discussed SAFE Halloween @ ERHS 10/28. HOSA Regional Conference & need for competitors in events on 11/22. Field trip to MAC for career expo on 11/06. Had food, games and prizes.

Yesterday, 5/14/2025, we wrapped up the 2024-2025 HOSA club with an end of the year party. We awarded two certificates for participation in this years club, had a ceremonial “passing of the cup” to our old officers, and then we announced next years officers. To the seniors, our HOSA stoles and pins will be given at senior awards.

Congratulations to Candice Bishop, President, Sierra Fields and Emma Collier, Vice Presidents, Brianna Blair, Secretary, Laken Reed, Treasurer, and Kylie Thacker, Reporter. We are all excited to see how the club will grow next year under their leadership!

As one of this year’s officers, I just want to thank everyone for a great year for our HOSA club. I have loved working with Alivia, Jayden, Lainey, and Madi to make this year fun and memorable. Although it is hard to say goodbye, we know that HOSA is in great hands and we are excited to see how the 25-26 year goes! Good luck to the incoming officers and the rest of the HOSA club.

Hi,

We will be having a quick meeting during break on Monday to have official minutes for spending our club money for Mexican at our next meeting. Our next meeting will be on May 14th at 3:45 P.M. This will be our graduation/end of the year party. Next years HOSA officers will be announced as well. You dont habe to worry about bringing anything in but remember to bring a drink.

Good morning,

Our next meeting will be on Friday, April 11th. We will be electing officers at that meeting so please be considering if you want to become an officer next year. Mrs. Ratliff will be handing out application forms soon. Our meeting will be Easter themed so please make sure to bring food in!

HOSA officers went grocery shopping today! This cart will be going to the family resource food pantry at East Ridge :)

Today, we held a Zoom meeting to officially vote on how to allocate our club funds. We have decided to use these funds to assist students or staff members in need, and any surplus will be donated to local churches and organizations that help people in our community.

We may be volunteering this Thursday and Friday, and Mrs. Ratliff will let us know soon, if we are able. Everyone is welcome to join us if you’re interested.

Please message Alivia or Mrs. Ratliff if you know of any student or staff member in need. Additionally, we would appreciate it if you could also let them know about any local churches or food banks that are accepting money donations.

Today was our February Valentine’s Day meeting! We began the meeting with a heart themed game, and then discussed that we are using our money to purchase grad stoles and pins this year for our seniors and mentioned to the juniors and sophomores to be thinking if you would want to fill one of the 5 open HOSA officer next year. We also dicussed visiting the nursing home for Easter. We ended the meeting with great food and treat bags and cups gifted from Mrs. Ratliff. Please review the grad stole requirements and field trip rules. With Valentine’s Day coming up , we have made over 100 Valentines day cards! They were taken to the nursing home today and we hope they enjoyed them!
