This Friday, March 20th come by and grab some amazing, made from scratch Potato Soup and hand-kneaded, baked to perfection rolls!

We will be offering:
🍲 12 oz cup with roll for $6
🍲 32 oz cup with 2 rolls for $12

We will turn our parking lot into a “drive-thru” and you don’t even have to exit your vehicle to get a hot, fresh, made from scratch meal to take home on a Friday evening!

Our men don’t always like making flowers and crafting butterflies. Our activity director, Tammy Overall, found something that the men wanted to do!

Some of these fellas got back to their roots and picked up a hammer and nails to make their own birdhouses! They loved every minute and we love watching them find something they enjoy doing.

Thank you, Tammy, for making sure you find something for all of us! 🤍🩵

Our very own Ruby donated her time and showed some of our ladies how to make homemade pretzels 🥨

They were the BEST pretzels and we cannot thank her enough for loving our residents 🤍

We took this fine dime out on the town for lunch yesterday! We talked, we laughed, and we got to know each other a little bit better than the day before.

Ms. Lee Breeden was our Resident of the Month for February. Lee has been in our building for a couple of months but in our community since she was a little girl. She has quickly become our family and stolen our hearts. Lee worked at Montauk for many years and has so many good stories to tell.

Lee kept us in line and we enjoyed her company! It was such a good time and I’m so thankful to have the opportunity to slow down, sit down, and spend time with our residents 🤍

This year’s theme — Social Work: Uplift. Defend. Transform. — perfectly describes Angie Gimpel, social worker at TCMH.

For 34 years, Angie has been on the front lines at TCMH helping patients and families navigate some of life’s most difficult moments. Her compassion, dedication, and heart for service have touched thousands of lives in our community.

Angie shares that she chose this career because she was always curious about why people think and act the way they do - a passion that led her to pursue sociology, psychology, and counseling. A friend told her about an opening at TCMH… and 34 years later, she’s still here making a difference every single day.

What she loves most?
💛 Helping patients and families during their most challenging times.
💛 Working in a small rural hospital where personal, compassionate care truly matters.

Fun fact: Angie was born at TCMH — and delivered both of her children here, too! She also enjoys antique shopping and loves her grandmother’s salt and pepper shaker collection.

Angie, thank you for uplifting, defending, and transforming lives every day. We are so grateful for you and the incredible impact you’ve made on our patients and community!
