Today marks the winter solstice; the longest night of the year for those in the northern hemisphere.

This time of year kinda forces us to rest and reflect whether or not we want to. Be kind to yourself and others. Make memories and don’t worry about perfection. It’s always darkest before the dawn. And enjoy the twinkle lights along the way.

Winter months tend to be difficult. Your body wants to rest, your soul misses the sun and your heart turns reflective.

It’s ok to have bad days, sad days and mad days. It’s all part of discovering who you are and how you want to handle the curves life gives us. Be kind to yourself, it’s your first time living.

Mercury or Hermes is the god of communication, messages, and technology. Mercury retrograde often forces us to look inward. Growth comes when we look at our responses and choose patterns that align with our highest good.

Let’s all be grateful that Saturn Retrograde ends tonight!

Like the Moon pulls the tides, often the heavens have more of an impact on our world than we realize. Saturn or Cronos is the god of Time; often associated with structure and discipline. Time to reflect on the structures in our lives have shifted over the past few months. From global impacts to local events, I think most of us have experienced some kind of structural change.
