🙏 Gratitude does not remove suffering, but it gives us strength to get through it. It reminds us that there is purpose in the process and hope beyond the exhaustion. 💪

Being thankful when everything is going well is easy, but being thankful in the midst of chaos is an act of faith. Every “thank you” in the midst of pain is a seed of hope that grows over time.

Giving thanks in the midst of trials, when the heart is weary, is a courageous statement:
“God is still here. At work. Even if I don't understand everything yet.”

- Every difficult step has a purpose.
- Every tear, a promise.
- And every “thank you” in the face of turmoil. is faith sown that will one day bear fruit. 🌱

Today, take a moment and ask yourself:
💙 What can I be thankful for, even in the midst of this difficult season?

When we choose gratitude, God turns trials into testimonies. 🙌

✍️ We often use the words "happiness" and "joy" interchangeably, but they are actually quite different. While happiness usually depends on our current circumstances, joy is something much deeper and more durable.

In our latest blog post, Peggy Rice shares her personal journey of "finding her joy again"—a search that began nearly 18 years ago. She explores how biblical joy isn’t a feeling we have to manufacture or a spiritual test we’re failing when things get hard. Instead, it’s a quiet strength rooted in God’s presence, even when life feels heavy or our mental health feels unsteady.

If you’ve ever felt like joy was out of reach, this perspective is for you.

Setting healthy boundaries isn’t selfish—it’s essential for emotional and mental well-being.

Healthy boundaries help you:
✔ Understand your needs
✔ Communicate clearly and confidently
✔ Stay consistent without guilt
✔ Respect yourself, even when others don’t understand

In counseling, we often see how burnout, anxiety, and resentment grow when boundaries are missing. Healing begins when you give yourself permission to protect your time, energy, and heart.

💚 You are allowed to say no.
💚 You are allowed to rest.
💚 You are allowed to prioritize your well-being.

If setting boundaries feels hard, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
