Campbell University Doctor of Physical Therapy Program

Graduating doctors of physical therapy who deliver skilled, compassionate, patient-centered care, from a service-oriented, Christian guided view, with special emphasis on rural healthcare environments. The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at Campbell University focuses on an evidence-supported curriculum centered on the patient and clinical practice in rural healthcare. The curriculum utilizes integrated, interdisciplinary education to prepare students to enter one of the most rewarding and fastest growing healthcare professions. Students who complete the program will earn a DPT degree and eligibility to become a candidate for initial licensure in the 53 jurisdictions recognized by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).

Excited to have CU DPT Assistant Professor Dr. Randy Lazicki representing physical therapists and our program on this panel of distinguished guests at yesterday's College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences Interprofessional Education event. The panel answered questions and offered advice centered around how, when, and why to advocate for your profession.

It’s becoming a CU DPT tradition to host Physical Therapist Assistant students from Fayetteville Technical Community College. Our first years and the FTCC students spent the morning learning communication strategies that are efficient and beneficial for both types of health care providers. We loved hearing the dialogue in the planned session activities and the collaborative chatter in the halls.
