I have to take a moment to brag on one of my patients — and yes, she graciously gave permission to share these photos.
She has truly put the work in.
Over the past year, she has shown incredible patience and perseverance. She stayed positive through plateaus and through months when the scale moved more slowly. She used her time on GLP-1 therapy to change her relationship with food — learning how to moderate “special treats,” build balanced meals, and make choices that support her long-term health.
She increased her physical activity, stayed consistent, and always shows up with a smile. Even during stressful seasons, she remains focused and continues to show up for herself.
The opportunity to watch patients grow in confidence and health is a powerful reminder of why I transitioned into medical weight loss several years ago — and ultimately why I took the leap to open my own practice here in my hometown (Lillington).
This patient was one of my very first patients after opening the doors to my practice, and walking this journey with her over the past year has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I am so proud of her growth, her mindset, and the tremendous results she has achieved.
Please help me congratulate on her amazing progress and these results. This is what patience, consistency, and true lifestyle change look like.
So very proud of you friend!
