From all the employees at HeartLight, including the dozens of Veterans working hard on a daily basis to provide critical Radiopharmaceuticals, it is an honor to provide service to the VA hospitals we serve in Ohio. It is the least we can do after all you have done for us!

Our Story

HeartLight Pharmacy began servicing the Lima area in 2004 as a full-service nuclear pharmacy providing unit dose and bulk radiopharmaceuticals to hospitals and clinics providing their patients with efficient, convenient, and cost-effective nuclear medicine procedures. In 2008 we extended our service area by opening a pharmacy in Columbus, Ohio. Our third pharmacy opened in the spring of 2011 in Dayton, Ohio.

Eric H. Schaaf, R.Ph. and founder of HeartLight is a fourth-generation pharmacist whose family has owned and operated a retail pharmacy for over 85 years. To the Schaaf tradition of customer-focused excellence, Eric brings more than a decade of experience in nuclear pharmacology, including having opened and operated nuclear pharmacies in Miami, FL and Cincinnati, Ohio.
