Just wanted to give everyone an update. First off, I miss my clients. You have been so supportive of me and I miss all of the conversations we have had. I can’t even imagine how I could have handled my pancreatic cancer journey without you. The prayers, thoughts, gifts, and kind words stuck with me and touched me so much.
Now for the bad news. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to massage. The Whipple surgery to remove the cancer has had a few negative effects on my body and massaging is no longer an option. I am really saddened by this, but I will not be returning to Stemen’s or the refinery.
Overall, I am grateful that they got all the cancer, I can hopefully live a long life, and I got to meet so many amazing people working as a massage therapist.

I had so many of my clients reach out to me with prayers, gifts, and guidance. I can’t tell you how much that all means to me. I will get the Whipple Procedure this Thursday. They are hoping they can get all of the cancer removed during it. It is estimated to be about a 10 hour surgery and they will take part of my pancreas, intestine, and stomach out. Unfortunately, the healing process is at least two months. So, please be patient with me. I hope to be back soon and able to work on each of you! Thanks again for all of your support!

I just wanted to thank all my clients for their understanding and their patience with me during this time. For those that don’t know, I found a mass on my pancreas 3 weeks ago. I went to MD Anderson for testing and I found that I have a 2.2 cm cancerous tumor on my pancreas. I will continue to work until my surgery on Nov 30, and will be back as soon as possible after that. Again, I appreciate all of your patience with me during this.
