🎃 Congratulations to the Winners of the Chiles-Laman Pumpkin Decorating Contest! 🎃

This year, Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services challenged Lima-area schools (grades K–3) to get creative and work together as a class to decorate a pumpkin. The challenge? Have fun with it! Pumpkins could be spooky, sweet, or silly — the sky was the limit.

We were blown away by the 38 classrooms that took part and showed off their imagination and teamwork! Our staff voted during our Trunk or Treat event, and although it was a close call, we’re excited to announce the winners:

🏆 Kindergarten: Ms. Braunwarth’s Class – Perry Elementary
🏆 1st Grade: Mrs. Kennedy’s Class – Perry Elementary
🏆 2nd Grade: Mrs. Cox’s Class – Perry Elementary
🏆 3rd Grade: Ms. Miller’s Class – Freedom Elementary

Each winning class will enjoy a pizza party on us! 🍕

A huge thank-you to all the students and teachers who participated — your pumpkins were truly out of this world, and we loved seeing your creativity shine! 🌟

Our annual Trunk or Treat is happening Sunday, October 26th, from 2–4 PM at the Shawnee Chapel (1170 Shawnee Rd., Lima, OH 45805). Bring the family out for an afternoon of candy, games, and community fun! 🍬✨
