Yesterday I had the pleasure of teaching the kids at Fort Jennings preschool how to keep their eyes safe and healthy. It was extra special for me because it was my daughter, Lerner’s, classroom! She’s lucky to have such awesome teachers and classmates!!🤓💕

Kerry and I spent the last 4 days in Nashville learning to Forge ahead in Eyecare. We experienced education in all the latest innovations and technology in the Eyecare field.
Of course we also had to experience Broadway’s awesome live music while we were there. We randomly saw Blake Shelton playing at Ole Red and we found Lima’s own Derek Alan at H***y Tonk Central. What a fun time learning and listening! 😎🤠🎶🎸Vision Source

We’re looking for a friendly, dependable Optometric Assistant to join our practice! (Training provided!)
What You’ll Do:
• Greet and assist patients with warmth and professionalism
• Pre-test patients and prepare them for their eye exams
• Assist the doctor with patient flow and charting
• Educate patients on lens options, eyewear, and contact lenses
• Manage scheduling, insurance verification, and office coordination
What We’re Looking For:
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• A positive, team-oriented attitude
• Attention to detail and a passion for patient care
• Previous optometry or medical office experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person!

Today was a fun-filled day of teaching kids about their eyes and how to keep them safe and healthy. I started the day at St Anthony’s preschool in Columbus Grove and finished with the second graders at Kalida, which is my daughter’s class. The kids always impress me with their knowledge, willingness to participate, and great questions! 🤓😍

Today is World Down Syndrome Day and another reason to celebrate this bundle of pure JOY! Her smile is contagious and her voice is so sweet. She continues to melt our hearts daily!!
Her brother and sister are wrapped around her little finger. Siblings also deserve a special shout out on this day for all they do too!
We’ve created a lot of great memories throughout this year and she continues to show us just how “able” and strong she is! 💙💛

Happy 12th birthday Visual Eyes! 🎂🎉 Every year on this day I am very grateful for my family, friends, staff, and patients who make each day of work full of joy. As I reflect on today, we examined some complex eyes and it was challenging. These tough days are the ones that make all the hard work worth it. Helping our patients see and look their best has been my goal since day one and we’re continuing to do our best 12 years later! 😍😎
